The 3-rd place in the category trend immediately behind Ivo Adam - the POHO in Weggis moults quietly and secretly to a true insider's tip.

After the success in the hotel rankings of the Sunday newspaper and the Bilanz - in which the POHO was chosen in each case under the top 50 in Switzerland - another award is ready for the young team of the Post Hotel Weggis.

32 companies from whole Switzerland have this year taken part in the category "trend" of best of all of Swiss gastro award. The fact that the POHO and the excellent POHO Dining Lounge is allowed to be involved after only 1.5 years quite completely on top, is to be owed to the very innovative draft of chef Markus Milz and the guest's friendliness of the service team under Robert Korb.

The endless summer party was a full success. Humpty and Dumpty feat. Bibi brought the crowd raving and DJ Mr.Andrew was rocking till late hours…

POHO movie

In Switzerland there are all together about 5'000 hotel companies with about 250'000 beds. Most hotels are valued with stars. However, besides the regularly assessment there are other classifications and ratings. The hotel rating of the Sunday newspaper also belongs to it.
Under the 100 best hotels of Switzerland eight companies are in Central Switzerland. In the category best holidays hotels the POHO on was placed postion 30.

The POHO team thanks warmly for this great result!

Shortly after his admission as "Small Luxury Hotel of the World" the POHO is distinguished once more: Now thanks the label "Superior" it belongs definitively, as the only hotel in on the Weggis Riviera, to the élite of the 4-star hotels.

The whole POHO team is glad about this great classification and is now even more motivated to be allowed to pamper you during your next visit.

While the autograph session, which released a large run in the region, one could as highlight pose with the 4 misses in front of the camera. For our barman, who worried excellently about the guests, was the seat between the ladies and the common photo, the most beautiful salary.

The Guide Michelin is a renowned hotel and restaurant guide that appears annually new. An experienced team of inspectors is responsible for the selection of the recommended addresses in the guide.
Also in the POHO Dining Lounge were an inspectors team to visit. They judged and evaluated the power spectrum of the restaurant.

We are glad about the admission of the POHO Dining Lounge in the new Michelin Guide 2009!

„The guest goes into hotels, in order to find somewhat, which he/she does not have at home “, so the mission statement from the major-hotelier Conrad Hilton. Which counts, are warm-hearted lifestyle and luxury nature experiences.
Rarely it had so much movement in the luxury-hotel trade as in 2008. All the more we are proud, that the only in May this year opened Post Hotel Weggis, entered from zero directly at place 45. The partner-hotel Park Hotel Weggis, could hold the excellent 6th place.
